Draft — pending review. This text is a working draft for the La Famiglia free trial in the UK. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before it is final.
These terms apply to La Famiglia during its free trial in the United Kingdom. La Famiglia is run by Layish Sieger (“we”). By creating a household you agree to them.
The trial
La Famiglia is free while it is in trial. It is an early product: features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We will give parents reasonable notice by email before the trial ends or before we introduce any charge, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Your household
- A household is created by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
- Parents keep their sign-in email and the Board links they share safe. Anyone with a Board link can open that member’s Board until a parent replaces the link.
- You are responsible for what you and your connected assistant put on the Board, and for adding children’s details only with the agreement of their parents or guardians.
Your content
Your family’s content stays yours. You let us store and show it only so we can run your household’s Board. How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice.
Connected assistants
You can connect an AI assistant from another provider. That assistant is run under its provider’s own terms. Assistants can make mistakes, so check anything important, such as times and places, before relying on it.
Fair use
Please don’t misuse the service, try to reach another household’s data, or put anything unlawful or harmful on a Board. We may suspend a household that does.
Ending
You can stop using La Famiglia at any time and ask us to delete your household by emailing hello@getlafamiglia.com. We may end the trial or close a household with reasonable notice, and we will give you a chance to ask for a copy of your data first.
Liability
We provide La Famiglia with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UK law, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions go to hello@getlafamiglia.com.
